With the continuous development of robot fieldbus skills, its application field is now not tied to car production, but in industrial equipment, industrial automation and other fields have been widely used. However, the industrial environment is harsh, electromagnetic annoyance is more serious, how to ensure the reliability of robot cable signal communication is particularly important.

 

Electromagnetic compatibility has great influence on the reliability of robot communication system. EMC(Electro Magnetic Compatibility) refers to the ability of a device to generate electromagnetic energy that does not bother other devices, nor does it bother other devices.

 

Electromagnetic compatibility mainly includes two aspects:

 

1. Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) refers to the adverse electromagnetic interference caused by a product on the outside world. There are two types of conduction annoyance and radiation annoyance. Conduction annoyance is the coupling of signals on one electrical network to another electrical network through a conducting medium. Radiation hassling is when a hassling source couples signals (hassling) through space to another electrical network.

 

2. EMS(Electro Magnetic Susceptibility) refers to the decrease in the function due to the composition of electromagnetic energy.

 

At this point, it is necessary to choose certain skills and methods to restrain electromagnetic annoyance, called Electro Magnetic Shielding. Electromagnetic shielding is the use of conductive or conductive materials to bind electromagnetic radiation in a regular space range. The purpose is to choose a shielding body around the electromagnetic bother source, restrain the bother of the electromagnetic bother source of the surrounding space of the receiver, perhaps choose a shielding body around the receiver, in order to prevent the bother source to its bother.

Electromagnetic shielding can be divided into electric field shielding, magnetic field shielding and electromagnetic field shielding according to its shielding principle. Meanwhile, electric field shielding includes electrostatic field and alternating electric field shielding, magnetic field shielding includes stable magnetic field and alternating magnetic field shielding, and electrostatic shielding can be divided into external electric field shielding and internal electric field shielding. No matter what kind of shielding, from its essence is to study the electromagnetic field in a variety of specific parts of the space how to distribute the problem. In practice, different shielding methods should be selected according to different field sources.

 

In conclusion, there are three methods to improve the electromagnetic compatibility of robot cable signal communication: emission protection, absorption protection and conduction protection.

 

1. Launch protection -- the supply of electronic equipment own electromagnetic compatibility ability, select electromagnetic compatibility function of good components, reasonable layout, down ground impedance, aspiration state, all the ground wire on the circuit board should be equal potential.

 

2 absorption protection - control induction cable bother, using twisted pair, increase the degree of twisted-pair, shielding ground, add impedance restraint common mode bother, separate the bus terminal.

 

3 conduction protection - conduction nuisance barrier and protection, blocking transceiver, using signal protector to eliminate nuisance.
